Should I Test Myself?

We do not recommend testing for mold yourself. Instead, professional testing is available from Mold Solutions NorthWest or third party testers to determine the mold type, severity, potential health risk and possible remedial actions.

Sometimes, mold growth is hidden and difficult to locate. In such cases, a combination of air (outdoor and indoor air samples), bulk (material) samples and thermographic imaging may help determine the extent of contamination and where remediation is needed.
